Storm Disaster Relief

Updated Info for January 2017 Albany Storm Disaster Relief

On January 2, 2017, a severe storm hit Albany, GA, with straight-line winds and a possible tornado. The damage was widespread throughout the city and many homes and vehicles were damaged.

Twenty days later, on January 22, an EF-3 tornado touched down and decmiated neighborhoods and businesses in the Albany area. Unfortunately, lives were lost during the storm. Our community is reeling from the devastation and impact of the severe weather in January 2017.
