Updated Info for January 2017 Albany Storm Disaster Relief
On January 2, 2017, a severe storm hit Albany, GA, with straight-line winds and a possible tornado. The damage was widespread throughout the city and many homes and vehicles were damaged.
Twenty days later, on January 22, an EF-3 tornado touched down and decmiated neighborhoods and businesses in the Albany area. Unfortunately, lives were lost during the storm. Our community is reeling from the devastation and impact of the severe weather in January 2017.
The road to recovery for our community may be long. Please partner with us in prayer as we care for and support #AlbanyGA.

Give via check: Bring check/cash to church office or mail check to Sherwood Baptist Church at 2201 Whispering Pines Road, Albany, GA 31707. Please make your check out to Sherwood Baptist Church and designate funds to "Help Albany - Disaster Relief."
Give online: If you would like to make a donation to assist with disaster relief efforts, please select the "GIVE TO DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS" button below. By selecting the button, you will be instructed to:
1. Enter the amount of the gift.
2. Select if this is a one-time gift or recurring gift.
