Description:

As you read the New Testament, it is clear there is a battle for the mind. The enemy wants to fill our minds with half-truths, deception, and temptation. We are told in the Bible to renew our minds, but that doesn't happen without personal discipline. We can't win the battle over the world, the flesh, and the devil with our minds in neutral. There is practical instruction available in the Word of God for living a life full of truth, victory, and power. Unfortunately, we live in an age where people don't know how to think anymore. Their lives are manipulated by the media, entertainment, fake news, worldly philosophies, and warped perspectives. If we want to know God, there are some practical truths we need to apply on a daily basis. When you read the Epistles, most of them begin with doctrine and end with practical application of doctrine and truth. Our goal in this series is to practically apply God's wisdom to our lives so that we walk with wisdom and avoid confusion and deception. We cannot afford to practice mindless Christianity.
