This summer, students will enjoy time in nature while spending focused time in discipleship and hearing from God through His Word. As we study the life of David, students will discover God’s call and plan for their lives.
This is a Sherwood Kids camp held at Camp Rockridge in Franklin, GA. Children will stay busy all week with Bible study, recreation, hiking, canoeing, swimming, crafts, worship, archery, skill breakouts, the canteen, a campfire with epic fireworks, and the talent show!
This is a great opportunity to bring a friend and introduce them to the faith you have in the Lord—and don’t forget your toothbrush!

Camp is for completed 1st—5th graders.
This is a Sherwood Kids camp, created by Pastor Mark and the Sherwood Kids team. Pastor Mark Scardino will serve as our camp pastor.
Parents and Sherwood members like you! We will need chaperones for every grade level. See Mark Scardino or Bethany Holwick to volunteer.
While cell phones and devices are not allowed for students, parents may call chaperones to speak with their child. Since cell service is very limited, the camp landline number will be provided.
1st—5th will meet at the church and board church buses, departing Monday morning and returning Thursday before dinner.
Swimming is only allowed in the pool and only when a lifeguard is present. Children must pass a swim test to use the deep end of the pool. The camp also has a kiddie pool for our youngest campers.

June 29 – July 2, 2026 We will be going to Camp Rockridge which is 150 miles north, near Franklin.
Our goal is to spend concentrated time in discipleship with your child. Kids will get away from many of life’s distractions, experience time in nature, and hear from God in His word.
Children will be busy all week in Bible study, recreation, hiking, canoeing, swimming (in the pool), crafts, worship, archery, skill breakouts, canteen, camp fire, and even a talent show!
There is one boy cabin and one girl cabin. Younger grades get the top floor. Think open dormitory-style bunkbeds with railings. Indoor bathrooms. Chaperones sleep in the cabins with the children. Sherwood will have exclusive use of the entire campus.
All Sherwood volunteers are vetted and background checked. During camp we follow a rule of three so no adult is ever alone with a child.
A parent volunteer will serve as the camp nurse and be responsible to hold and dispense all medications.
