Last week we started this new series about lessons learned on life’s detours. When God takes us on an unexpected turn and we end up on a back road, we see things we wouldn’t see otherwise. He is still Lord in the detours, and at times He will use these setbacks to prune us. God is sovereign; we are not. He knows how to sustain us and sanctify us on the journey. If we’ll slow down and listen, we’ll learn great truths along life’s detours.
