Seeking the Lost
THE LOSTNESS OF OUR CITY
Luke 15:1-7

OVERVIEW
Jesus told three powerful parables in Luke 15 on the lost son, the lost coin, and the lost sheep. All of them are reminders of the Father’s heart toward those who are away from Him. The church has been called to meet the world in its lostness. We have a loving Father who loves the lost, the prodigal, the wayward, the forgotten, and the forsaken. As we think about what God has called us to be and do in 2020, these messages are a good reminder of our priorities if we want to live out the heart of Jesus and His Father.

Over the next three messages, we're going to look at one of the greatest chapters in all of Scripture. You can't read this chapter without your heart being stirred by God's heart for people.

Jesus tells three parables to make an undeniable point. In fact, there are several key points:

1.

2.

3.

I. WHO ARE YOU IN THIS STORY?

II. WHO ARE THE LOST SHEEP?

III. WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE RESPONSE?
