Since God is With Me
2 Samuel 5:10
“David became greater and greater, for the Lord God of hosts was with him.” – 2 Samuel 5:10
God's __ makes the difference.
“Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward…” – 1 Samuel 16:13
“Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse…who is a skillful musician, a mighty man of valor, a warrior, one prudent in speech, and a handsome man; and the Lord is with him.” – 1 Samuel 16:18
“So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and prospered; and Saul set him over the men of war…the women sang as they played, and said, 'Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.' Then Saul became very angry…Saul looked at David with suspicion from that day on.” – 1 Samuel 17:5-9
“Now Saul was afraid of David, for the Lord was with him…” – 1 Samuel 18:12
“David was prospering in all his ways for the Lord was with him. When Saul saw that he was prospering greatly, he dreaded him.” – 1 Samuel 18:14-15
“When Saul saw and knew that the Lord was with David… Saul was even more afraid of David.” – 1 Samuel 18:28-29

Question 1: Since God is with me, what am I __ instead of Him?
Question 2: Since God is with me, how can I __ live in His presence?
“Then David inquired of the Lord, saying, 'Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand?' And the Lord said to David, 'Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.' So David came to Baal-perazim and defeated them there; and he said, 'The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters…'” – 2 Samuel 5:19-20
