A Night of Prayer: Praying for Leaders

TEAM 1: Praying for Leaders in the Home

Pray for dads to…

  • Walk in righteousness and integrity
    (Proverbs 20:7)
  • Lead their families to love and serve the Lord
    (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Joshua 24:15)
  • Bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord
    (Ephesians 6:4)
  • Discipline their children
    (Proverbs 13:24; 19:18)
  • Teach their children obedience
    (Ephesians 6:1; Colossians 3:20)
  • Teach their children to honor their parents
    (Ephesians 6:2)
  • Show compassion to their children
    (Psalm 103:13)
  • Be watchful, protective, strong, firm in the faith, and act like men

  • Provide for their families

  • Love and nurture their children
