Hebrews 10:19-25

The superiority of Christ over things previously learned:

The Need for Endurance

Hebrews 10:32-39

Endurance – The ability to sustain an activity for an extended period of time

The only thing that prepares you to sustain continuous activity for an extended period of time is __.

Salt and Light: The Disciples’ Influence on the Physical World

 

Matthew 5:13-16

 

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:13-16

 

Jesus begins teaching the disciples two important principles:

  1. The Disciples’ __ When Living by Faith and in Obedience to GOD (v. 1-12)
  2. The Disciples’ __ on the Physical World (v. 13-16)

 

  1. Jesus makes statements that __ our identity.
