At Sherwood, the statement “Prayer leads us to love God, grow together, serve others and change the world” is something we live out. Serve Day is a day the Sherwood Church family corporately commits to prayer and local mission projects to serve and share the love of Jesus Christ within the City of Albany. Once a month, we will serve our community through things like prayer walks, visitation, food deliveries, call lists, prayers for the incarcerated and more. This is a Saturday when hundreds of members and guests can be individually involved in praying, serving, and reaching people.
